I have requirement to create voucher on current date during settle vendor posted check (means when I hit on settle clear entries) voucher create on current date. In systems default voucher create on Maturity date of the check, But my client want to create voucher on current date (after maturity) Any functional or technical solution from experts?

Can we restrict the postings to certain financial dimensions based on users groups? We have some ledger accounts that no one should be utilizing (other than accounting) and I can't find a way to prevent other users from choosing those accounts (on a purchase order, for example). Additionally, we have some financial dimensions that should not be used on a purchase order by certain users - can we restrict usage of a business unit and site based on a user group? We have done training of course but with job role changes etc, I'd prefer a system solution blocking the usage.

Hi everyone, just a question: is it possible to encrypt Credit Card data, even at the database level? I know AX uses Sql Data Base, so i think it is possible. You've selected Microsoft Dynamics AX (current version) as the version, which means D365FO. If it's correct, please tell us whether you're talking about a cloud-hosted environment (which uses SQL Azure) or an on-premises one (which uses SQL Server). Then the answer depends on what kind of encryption you mean. One of the option is Transparent Data Encryption , if it's what you want.

Many sound like overlayering conflicts to me. For example, the message "Variable xyz has not been declared" suggests that there is an overlayering conflict in class declaration. A member variable has been added in the new version, but old code is preventing the change from applying.

I am trying to import a BAI2 statement format for Advanced Bank Reconciliation. I am getting errors. See below. It is saying " The bank statement was not imported because bank account Admin was not identified in the import file" Kindly help if you have this issue before.

Doing a Inventory Movement using the mobile device (Move by Template), I have an error when trying to split the picked quantity between two locations. I follow the Put instruction to the locations suggested by the location directive. The put instruction includes the Location, Target LP, Item and Qty. When I click the Split Put button, the new dialog suggest the same string but I can update the quantity. When I try to put part of the picked quantity (say 10 kg out of 1000kg picked on the work ID), I have an error message stating: 'License Plate specified on a non-license plate controlled location. Update has been cancelled'. The Inventory Movement Location Directive for the 'Put' that applies to this item Allows Split with no units of measure specified or restricted to. If I ignore the message and put the full quantity in the Qty box (1000kg), the work completes without issue. So if I never make to the point where I can over-ride the location for a second put with the remaining quantity. The Target LP and location are the same so I dont get that if failed on the first partial put and passes on teh second full put; the error message seems Does that problem ring a bell with anyone? Is this a configuration items that was omitted or a bug? Thanks! Danny

This type of issue is normally due to communications with the AOS or possibly a bad\missing Enum name or label. Check for other error message that occur at the same time. Verify that the MR service account is a valid AX user with Security Administrator permissions. Is a domain account with local Admin on the MR server.

Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately, when I try to delete the output order, this is the message that appears: "Output order IOO-01889268 cannot be deleted. All related lines to the output order must have a status that comes prior to Picked." All the Transaction records for the output order are in status Completed. I'm puzzled by the message, since I have deleted other output orders where the transaction records are in Completed status. Any other suggestions?
