Hi There is an option to filter only DR or CR transactions in MR. This is usually done in the columns definition. If I'm not wrong one of the default reports has this feature build in. So, please check the standard reports first. Best regards Ludwig

(let's say if I do settlement today) 2. please take a look into following 2 pictures: a. when I choose latest date. it shows there is 0.01 transaction b. when I choose 'today', there is just reverse what the '0.01' transaction is? Hi, Any user can create batch jobs as it is granted by the system user role. By default they can only see their own batches. A system administrator can manage all batch jobs. I thought the Information Technology manager can also manage all. Users and security can be managed by the security administrator and system administrator. What exactly do you mean with the approval setup? This is a bit broad question. Which exact setup are you referring to? Note that it is possible to change the security to your needs.

I don't see any restrict options under account setup - can you tell me how to navigate to the screen you're referring to? Also, this would work for *some* accounts. Others need to be restricted based on financial dimensions - for example, users at location A should be able to choose factory supplies main account with site A, while users at location B should be able to choose factory supplies at site B - but I'd like to restrict them from accidentally choosing the wrong location.

These users would be creating requisitions or purchase orders mostly which would lead to "system generated" postings when items are received/invoiced (payables). Also the free-text invoices (receivables) require a user to select a main account and dimensions (not driven by item type as most other invoices are). We keep separate financials based on the location info - so posting to the wrong location creates an entry on the wrong set of books.

Hi Do you mainly care about the ledger posting or the restriction to create certain transactions? From your last comment I would expect that you primarily look for preventing users from creating purchase requisitions, purchase orders, etc. This can be achieved with the help of XDS. Why is MRP suggesting a PO of the maximum qty specified in the Min/max coverage group? I would have thought that if I have 20 on hand, and a max of 100, the PO would be for 80. It is currently proposing 100 units.

I solved this issue by installing Hotfix3780433 and restarting Reporting server. The error might be a sql exception for high request. Thanks for your kind reply Ludwig.

Hi, I am using D365 8.1. In the PO invoice form, Ima choosing a procurement category where I am overriding the text field to enter the real item description, which is selected to be as Fixed assets = Yes, When it is posted, I am expecting to see that the Fixed asset description should be coming from the 'text filed' on the pO line item, however I see the procurement category description.
