In AX 2009 we deployed the AIF Sales Order web service and were able to process Create, Read and partial Updates through the web service using the Default endpoint. After adding a few custom fields to the Sales Table and updating the service classes we can still process the Create, Read and partial Updates using a file adapter. After generating the service to update the Web components I get the following error "The key field SalesId cannot be updated." The code has not been modified and the Create and Read process' work fine. I think something was overwritten in the Web Service components which prevented the partial Update from attempting to write the SalesId to the record. Does anyone know how to resolve the issue?
